Home is the Sailor, Home From Sea

Happy Veterans Day and a big Thank you to all who have served and those who serve us still.

Welcome Home, J!!!
Bravo Zulu, Son!!

Home is the sailor, home from sea:

Her far-borne canvas furled
The ship pours shining on the quay
The plunder of the world.

Home is the hunter from the hill:
Fast in the boundless snare
All flesh lies taken at his will
And every fowl of air.

'Tis evening on the moorland free,
The starlit wave is still:
Home is the sailor from the sea,
The hunter from the hill.

--A.E. Housman (1859-1936)

I am so glad that he is home, and I know that you and DH are too. Hope all is well with you both.

I have been so busy today getting everything out of my kitchen. The contractor will be here Monday morning to finish up the kitchen.

Michael has moved back to his apartment, and I am so lost now. He has been here twice today already. I don't think that he is too sure about moving back to his apartment, but it was his choice. He will adjust I think. He had gotten use to the home cooked meals, and that is the main thing that he is going to miss I think. He will be fine, I just have to stop worrying.

It's nice to take a few moments to stop and remember the people who have fought and died for our country and freedom.

We need to remember the people in Iraq, Afghanistan today.

Best,
