The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) presents the 20th Annual National Memorial Day Concert on Sunday, May 24 at 8 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. The concert will feature musicians such as Katharine McPhee, Trace Adkins, Denyce Graves, as well as readings from Katie Holmes, Colin Powell, Laurence Fishburne, Joe Mantegna, Gary Senise and Dianne Wiest. I love this concert. I watch it every year. It is not only good entertainment, but the images of the crowds are very moving and very patriotic.

We didn't make it last year - after a full day with Rolling Thunder... we were too exhausted to even think about it. This year... I might, if I can... but being alone at it will suck. But Trace Adkins - that wonderful song...
