I'm Ready for Santa... and Our Guys

a new ornament for Noah... I just can't resist any of the Noah's ark things... this ornament is painted on the INSIDE

on the fireplace mantel... it's an ornament -- but you'd have to have one hardy tree to hang that bear on! we put Noah's name and the year on the back of the kevlar... I'm looking to add a little bandaid, too...

we are thinking of lots of people this Christmas... we added stockings for all Our Guys....
and this dang song still is making me tear up every time I hear it (which seems to be at least once a day)

I'll be home for Christmas;
You can count on me.
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love-light gleams.
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams.

Mom,
I do hope the "dates" are soon. Have a wonderful, and merry, Christmas. Always think of you and Noah.

That is such a cute bear. Where did you find it?
My husband is named Noah too so we have tons of Noah's Ark ornaments and things. You really can't pass them up. I already have an adorable little Noah's Ark crib bedding set for when we have kids. (What? I like to plan ahead.)

I am so happy for you that the guys have their return dates. What a great Christmas this is shaping up to be for you! With all that has happened... I'm thinking you deserve it.
Sadly this Christmas my husband just got his deployment date so that sort of puts a damper on things knowing that he'll be leaving in 2 months -- but all the more reason to make it the best Christmas yet!

Wishing you and yours love and joy this season!
