But We In It Shall Be Remember'd...
For these five... for these of Noah's brothers... they are all our sons... I wrote about them here... here.... here.... here.... here... and here...
Our thoughts and prayers remain with their families and their friends.

I am new to blogging but not new to the military.......I am the wife of a Major in the Army, currently some where in Afghanistan. We have three young daughters and this is his second deployment since 9/11. My husband is a reservist and we are from Minnesota. My husband left home for training since January 2008, and will be deployed until sometime in April 2009......
When I read your comments on worrying I was so relieved to see that the way I was feeling was normal.........I am so tired all the time......and no one, can know, unless you have been there, that although you can not live in fear, the care and concern is every minute of everyday.......it is palpable, and you have to push through it at times.........
The soliders can't know how hard it is to let them go.......we can't see where they are, who they are with........what dangers they have to deal with.........and not knowing is so much worse.
I have people around me who only care about their 401k's.....I know this is a great concern.....I just wish they could know that my 13 year old daughter is hoping her dad will come home alive and well, so that she will have someone to walk her down the isle someday.....and I wish I could promise her that.....
It is only through prayer that I stand..........I pray for all the soliders and families......
Beautiful tribute to those who have stars which have turned to gold......
~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
thanks for this tribute

Now look what you've done. You've gone and made me cry. My soldier son should be home from Iraq in time for Christmas. I'll be holding my breath until then.
Maybe these "five" are some of the mighty warrior angels I pray up each night to guard my son. I sure hope so.
