Noah's Not Coming Home...

We learned this morning that Noah will be in Germany for at least another week, so we leave for Germany in the morning.
Thank you to all of the wonderful people at Soldiers Angels who continue to be there for us every step along this journey!! The Army only pays for travel to Germany if the soldier's injuries are considered life threatening, so Soldiers Angels is helping absorb some of the costs, but please consider donating to Noah's Wounded Warrior Fund.
Please keep us all in your prayers... and thank you all for those prayers and good wishes!
The journey continues...

Soldier's Mom,
Be careful and have a nice trip. I know you are going to see your injured son but try to relax as well. I will be in prayer for you that you have a safe trip there and a safe trip back. Let us know how things go! We will miss you while ou are gone but hopefully you can find someplace there to blog! Stay safe and tell Noah that I (as well as many other's) are praying for him and hope that he gets better!

Mom - wishing you safe travel to Germany. I'm sure you won't sleep a wink tonight. You mother and smother Noah all you want while you're there. Give him a hug and a big "Hoorah" for me.

Looking forward to hearing of his progress when you return. Please let us know if we can do anything while you're away.

I'm sorry that Noah isn't coming home but am glad that you can make the trip to Germany to be with him. Nothing helps heal like a mother's love. Have a safe trip.

My brother has been been twice already and preparing for his third deployment to Iraq. I recently spent the weekend with him in D.C. where he visited hi buddy who was injured in Iraq.

My heart truly goes out to you and your family, and especially to Noah.

Prayers going up for safe travel and give that soldier the BIGGEST HUG from all of us moms. God Bless you and yours.
It was so good to finally talk to you. Isn't it funny how easily we can talk, just like we have known each other all of our life.

You probably don't know me, but my name is Chris Day. I graduated HS in Clarkstown with Noah. At the time I was headed to West Point, now I'm in ROTC at Yale. I had this strange urge to google his name today to see what he's been up to in the service and I find this. I send him and you my regards, best wishes, and prayers. I would love to speak or write to him at some point if at all possible. Please email me at christopher.day@yale.edu whenever you find the time. I appreciate it.
