We Saw Noah!
Arrived in Germany Wednesday afternoon and Noah was waiting for us at Fisher House! He couldn't hug back all that well, and we were careful not to make his injuries worse (really wanted to hug the stuffings out of that boy... ) He's clearly hobbled and uncomfortable... frustrated... We all understand that.
The Fisher House and the people so dedicated to managing it are exceptional people... supremely dedicated to our soldiers and their families. A truly worthy cause of your attention and support! (I'll post pictures when we're back in the U.S.) Have met the families of some of the other wounded soldiers and there is no awkwardness -- just that bond of why we're here... More in a later post.
We have met briefly with Noah's medical liaison and hope to meet further with him today...

It was sure good to hear from you mom. Glad you made it to your destination and got to see that soldier of yours. I'll keep checking for any updates.

SOOOO Glad that you were able to see Noah. I am sure you could have hugged the stuffing out of him. The doctors could have fixed it :) Anyways, I am so glad that you got to see him and spend time with him, even though it had to be under these circumstances. Still is a joy to see a family memeber who has been gone a while no matter if the reason why you are seeing them is because they are injured. Anyways don't worry about posting, we will all wait for you here! Just post when you get a chance and other than that take care of that boy of yours! Give Noah a hug from all of us here! My family and I will continue to pray for you! Man, I am so excited for you!

I'm SO glad you got to see him first thing! Hearing someone on the phone is nothing compared to seeing them in person. I'm so glad you're there for Noah. It will be healing for BOTH of you.

He was able to come and greet YOU...... WOWOWOW that is GREAT news!! I agree with the others that slobbering lots of "Mom" kisses all over him should help you and not hurt him ( except his pride...lolol)WTG you guys.

My heart and prayers truly go out to your son Noah. Even though Chris, Kyle and I only spent a few hours with you and your husband on our trip I still feel your son is the closest I have come to having someone I directly know fall victime in combat. I am praying for Noah's continued recovery, and wish Gods blessings on your family.

wow that is such great news. I am so happy fpr you, Noah, and your family. You pour a little love on him from us too. Noah is in my preyers. as are you. You guys are an inspiration. I am so happy you arrived safe and have seen Noah. There is nothing like seeing him in person & I wish him a speedy recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please tell Noah thank you. What he does and has done is very appreciated by someone who use to take for granted these freedoms. I am thankfull for the efforts being made to bring the same to others who have never been able to experience them.
